Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, April 10th, 2012, Mr. Bob Briars of Ilderton in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Edith Briars (2006). Loving father of Heather Kilcourse and her husband George of Courtland, Bob Briars Jr. of London, Sue Reeve and her husband Jim, and Andy Briars, all of Ilderton, and father-in-law of Sandra Briars of London. Also loved by five grandchildren: Sarah (Mauricio), Adam, Ben, Lillian and Lindsay. Dear brother-in-law of Keith Hamilton of Smiths Falls and Cora Hamilton of Ottawa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and family in England. A memorial service will be conducted at Grace Anglican Church, 13301 Ilderton Road, Ilderton, on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Fr. Daniel Bowyer officiating. An Eastern Star service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society or Grace Anglican Church.

Brother Bob will be missed by all in Orphah Chapter. His work was perfect in every way and the stories he told at our St George's Night and Remembrance Day we will never forget. He was a true friend to everyone both in the Order of Eastern Star and Masons. We all will miss him.
