Peacefully surrounded by her family at LHSC – University Hospital on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of John Essey for 72 years. Loving mother of Linda Craig (Steven) and Bill Essey. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Kelly), Daniel (Sara), and Jeffrey (Heather), and great-grandmother to Connor, Evan, Carter, and Lincoln. Dear sister of Jack Riddick (Patricia). Predeceased by siblings Chuck, Bill, Mike, Joe, Lorna, Margaret, and Geraldine.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., followed by an interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Blanche are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
