“May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,

And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.”

Just today I learned of the passing of Billy Fox. I worked with him at Fanshawe Golf Club back in the late 70's/early 80's. He was a fun guy to be around. I remember playing some miniature golf with him at the Windemere Golf Range back in the days that the Fox family owned it. I also remember playing Craigowen with Bill and Peter Andrin one day. Bill made a birdie 2 at a par three and so he had the honours on the next tee. As he was about to set his tee in the ground, he wanted to make sure that he actually had the honours, so he said "Anyone beat a 2?". For some reason, I've never forgot that line. My condolences, late as they are, go out to his father and sisters, and out to his wife and children. He will be missed by all.
Guys, my sympathies, I had no idea and just found out from John Cowie, Bill and I had such a pile of laughs at Fanshawe as Assistant Golf Pro's....I feel so badly for you all, but I'll always remember Billy as a great friend who provided some of the best laughs and memories ever...... Robmac
