Miss you Bet, you were such an important part of my entire life. Always there for me & my family. You & Pete gave such joy & happiness to us & we have precious memories & gifts we will all continue to cherish. To this day, trips to the cottage & Florida are still treasured memories. Love sister Rose

My Aunt Bet remains one of the most important people in my life. I love her as much as I could possibly love anyone. My Aunt Bet and Uncle Pete were generous with their time. By sharing their love of life with me, they kindled my own life long passion for nature. Many of my most treasured early memories emanated from their cottage in Port Franks: Feeding peanuts to chipmunks on the deck, swimming for hours in the lake, and fishing from an inflatable raft in the river - I’ve carried these moments with me for decades, and always will. In recent years, along with my wonderful wife Wendy, I’ve been fortunate to find a house that reminds me of Aunt Bet’s cottage and I’ve built a tiny bunkie beside a lake where I can, again, swim and fish from an inflatable boat. Thank you Aunt bet for inspiring joy that has lasted a lifetime. I love you.

Kim so sorry to read of your mom’s passing. We go back to your childhood days. We lived in Norton Estates. Ian worked with your dad at Union Gas. We had many memories with them!

I would like to offer my condolences to the Leland family on the passing of Betty. I might be wrong but I think Kim was in my grade 8 class at Arthur Ford many years ago. If I have the wrong family I apologize.
