Passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 at her home, in her 90th year. Missed by her daughters Christine Vergilio (Vince) and Cynthia Jean Norris; her loving grandchildren: David and Mark Vergilio, and Lisa Tiemessen (Greg); and her great granddaughter Claire. Missed also by her brothers Marvyn Boyter (Marion) and Arden Boyter (June), as well as by her nephews and former spouse, Robert Smith. The memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, July 27th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Betty Jean are asked to consider The Salvation Army.

Cindy, I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was such a dear friend and cousin to my mom and I have very good memories of times spent with her in London and on Manitoulin. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Heather
