Peacefully at University Hospital, Palliative Care, on Tuesday, July 24th, 2012, Bernice (McLay) Fink of London at the age of 86. Wife of the late William (Skilly) Fink (1985). Beloved mother of Sandra (Jay) Hardy, Dianne (Jim) Backus, Jeannette (Pete) Courneya, Patty (Dave) White, Gail (Roger) Cramer, Lynda Fink and Chuck Fink. Predeceased by her son Bill (1999). Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ken, Delores and the late Jack. Thanks to the caring staff at Longworth Long Term Care (Lily) and the palliative care team at University Hospital. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, July 28th, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Men’s Mission.
The record of a generous life

A sweet lady. We will never forget the kindness Bernice showed to our mother and grandmother, Marika Tombros, her room mate at Longworth for 5 years. R,I,P, Grandma, We love you and I will always remember my last memory of visiting you in the hospital and having you smile and waive at Jacob when you saw him and holding your hand as you felt baby Hunter in my belly. We as a family would like to sent our condolences to all of you. We spent many years as neighbours and friends although we grew apart we still think of you and our prayers are with you and your family's.
We were so sorry to hear about your Mom. She must have been a very special woman to have raised such a wonderful family. May you find comfort in each other and in knowing that our thoughts are with all of you.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Not sure if you remember the More Family from years ago . I use to hang around Patty .I know the sorrow your Family is feeling as i lost my Mom in September of 2011 Ilene Lee who is also on this site .May the Lord watch over you all. Your Mom is now a angel in Heaven .And will be missed by all My thoughts and prayers are with you all.....
