It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bernadette Murphy at home, on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Theresa (Malloy) O’Reilly. Loving mother of Paul (Marnie) and Catharine. Adored grandmother of Avery, Cody, Anna, Chloe, Amelia, Charley and Ava. Bernadette is survived by her siblings, Rose (Frank) Gibson, Monica Dominie, Rita (Raymond) Venema, Margaret (Victor) Rivera, Mary (Bernie) Duchaine, Clare (Stan) Heddle, Frances (Diane) and Joseph (Ida) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Patrick and Michael O’Reilly and her sister Angela O’Reilly.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
