Basil John Stacey

June 8, 2012

Peacefully and surrounded by family, Basil John Stacey of London passed away on Friday, June 8th, 2012 at McGarrell Place. Devoted and loving husband to Aileen. Loved by his children Paul (Christine), Rob (Marilyn), dana (Bruce) and Marilee (John); and his grandchildren Christine, Jeff, Ryan, Julie, Robbie and Stacey and great-grandchildren Ella, Reid and Gavin. Bas was instantly loved by anyone he met with his charm and great sense of humour. He had a passion for sports, aircraft and music but most of all Bas loved life and will be sadly missed by all. A special thanks to Dr. Tallon and the staff of McGarrell Place for the love and care they gave to Bas. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
