Forbes, Barry Johnston – In my Father’s house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you. The Lord in his infinite wisdom called home his faithful servant Barry Johnston Forbes, February 25, 2012. Barry was born in Owen Sound, Ontario but calls Paisley and Port Elgin his hometowns. He and his wife Isla have 3 children, Dennis (Gail), Sally Hull (Jim) and Dana (Dianne), 6 grandchildren, Tracie, Stephen, Jayme, Timothy, Kaitlyn and Rebecca and 9 great grandchildren Tyler, Matthew, Joshua, Ryan, Jacob, Emilie, Marshall, Rowan and Callum. Barry served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, February 28th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The memorial service will be conducted at Westpark Church, 955 Gainsborough Road on Wednesday, February 29th at 2:00 pm. with visitation 1 hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Barry are asked to consider The Gideons International in Canada. Special thanks to all the nurses (angels) on 2 Perth and 5B South Veteran’s Care at Parkwood Hospital for their loving care of Barry.
