Barbel Elizabeth Fischer

FISCHER, Barbel Elizabeth –  Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Saturday, June 26, 2010, Barbel Fischer of London in her 75^th year.  Beloved partner of David R. Roseman.  Loving mother of Felix Fischer of Austria.  Dear sister of Winfred Raschke and Ruth Vogt.  Barbel is predeceased by her daughter Anja Fischer (1997).  Barbel enjoyed gardening, fishing, hiking and camping.  She enjoyed teaching at the German Language School for a number of years.  Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service to celebrate Barbel’s life will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Barbel are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, London Health Sciences Center – Cancer Program, or Parkwood Hospital – Palliative Care.  The family wish to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Parkwood Hospital, Palliative Care Department, for their exceptional care.
