Al Houghton and Family, It is with sadness that I read of your mother's passing in today's London Free Press. Your mother Barbara was a very dear guest of ours over the years and I enjoyed my many conversations with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Barb Emrich

Allan, Michael and families - I am so sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. Your Mother was a dear friend of my Mother's - Kay Howes - who passed away earlier this year. I remember Barbara with such fondness for her tenacity, spunk and outgoing nature. Our Mother's became 'fast friends' at Bayview Village, and spent many hours together over coffee or on the phone, and Barbara would often call my Mother even after she moved to London, and Kay moved to a Nursing Home. Please accept my condolences for your loss, on behalf of the Howes family - our thoughts are with you at this time.

Allan & Sue very very sorry for your loss!!!!

I had the pleasure of knowing your Mother through your cousin, Jill Shanks. "Aunt Barbara" (as I called her, too) had a lovely sense of humour I found particularly endearing. Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss.
