Ava Colley

August 15, 2013

After a valiant struggle with a congenital heart defect, Ava Samantha Grace Colley flew home to Jesus August 15, 2013 with her parents holding her close.  She will be forever loved and missed by her parents Jason and Lisa Colley, and her siblings, Erik, William, Sarah and Sophia.  Forever missed by her Grandparents, Mudite and Doug Colley and Henry and Anne Booy, as well as many loving aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.   We want to extend our thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff of Ward 4D at SickKids Hospital in Toronto who showed every kindness to Ava as they cared for her with excellence and compassion.   We are also grateful to the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto who provided for us a beautiful and caring home away from home.  Visitors will be received on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at North Park Community Church, 1510 Fanshawe Park Road East, London.  Funeral Service to be held at North Park on Tuesday, August 20th at 1:00 p.m., with Norm Millar of Harvest Bible Chapel officiating. Private interment at Littlewood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to SickKids Foundation or Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Lisa and Jason, With mixed emotions I send this condolence. I am happy that Ava is free from pain and enjoying her heavenly home but sad for your earthly loss. Praise God you will be reunited!!!!! It was divine intervention that brought you to Sick Kids to be a witness of God's amazing grace. Your kindness, gentleness, generosity, thoughtfulness and sweet spirit was Jesus living through you for others to see. I am forever grateful for the friendship that blossomed between you and our daughter as you shared a common bond. May you feel God's arms surround you with peace in the days to come. Lots of love and prayers, Marg and Wendell Johnson
