GLENN, Audrey Jean (Whitehead) – After a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, September 25th, 2011, Audrey Jean (Whitehead) Glenn passed away at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital, in her 72nd year. Devoted wife and friend of Charlie for 53 years. Loving mother to her two sons: Ron (Alison) and Steve (Amy). Loving grandmother to Jordan, Justin and Ashley. Dear sister of Evelyn Hirtzel (Don), Marie Tomac (Joe), Joan Gwalchmai (Dan) and Stan Whitehead. Audrey will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Aleda Whitehead. Audrey was employed with the Bank of Montreal for 35 years and was a very community-minded individual, volunteering her time to several local organizations. Cremation has taken place. The family invites friends and relatives to a Memorial Visitation being held on Saturday, October 1st, 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Audrey are asked to consider the L.H.S.F. Regional Cancer Centre. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff and Doctors of Victoria Hospital for their kindness and loving care over the past several years.

Charlie, Ron and Steve, Such fond memories are still with me of the summer I spent in Lucan living with your family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Audrey her kindness and thoughtfulness are still with me after all these years. Please know that I am thinking of all of you at this time.

Hi Charlie, Audrey had a long and painfull fight. Her suffering is now over and she will be in God's home. I pray now for you to have comfort.
