It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Arlie Osterhout (Montgomery) at University Hospital on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Arlie was born in 1927 in Petrolia Ontario. She was the daughter of the late Irene and James Wolsey. Arlie was a loving wife, mother and grandparent who always had her home open to her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards with the girls and was a talented artist, gifting her family members with her beautiful drawings and sketches. She is survived by her loving husband Dwayne Osterhout, daughter Deborah (John) Rozalowsky of Kentville, Nova Scotia, son Greg (Barb) Montgomery of Port Carling, stepson Alan (Theresa) Osterhout of Ottawa, son-in-law Norm Wilson of Lucan. Loving grandmother of Tamara Gilley, Greg Rozalowsky, Matt Montgomery, Scott Montgomery, Cody Montgomery, and step-grandmother of Nicholas Wilson, Bradley Wilson, Kara Wilson, Rachelle Brooks, Andrew Osterhout, Nicole Osterhout, Philip Osterhout and sadly missed by many great-grandchildren. Arlie was predeceased by her husband Gerald Wallace Montgomery, sisters Jeane Ditner, Gloria Nicol, and step-daughter Cindy Wilson. A memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations if desired, may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.

It is with deep regret that we cannot be with our family to say goodbye to our much loved grandmother. We will remember always the time we have spent together over the years and the many happy memories that she gave us.
We were so sorry to read of Arlie's passing. We have many wonderful memories of times spent together. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all who had the honour of knowing her. May your memories sustain you through this difficult time. Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the memorial service but you are in our thoughts and prayers.
We would like to express our condolences and sympathy to you at this time. Aunt Arlie was a good and kind person and will be missed by all who knew her. Sue and I have some of her amber glass in Mother's china cabinet and a wonderfull seascape, relief picture she made for us hanging on the wall. We are sorry that we will be unable to attend today's service and will remember her always.
My thoughts & prayers are with all of you. I'm sorry I am unable to be with you. Please except my sympathies & love. It is with a sad heart that we say good bye- Aunt Arlie always made you feel special; whether with one of her famous ice cream sundae's or a cup of hot choc. But most of all I will always be thankful for the generosity & kindness shown by opening her home when I attended college. Aunt Arlie will always be close in my heart. May the caring and support of family and friends console and comfort you at this sad time.
Will miss the wonderful friendship and sharing of a lifetime of memories. The family are in my thoughts and prayers, with love.
