I so very much loved visiting to Ann in London and her and Doug coming to Detroit to visit us. She had a kind and generous spirit. I will miss her.
I have so many lovely memories of Ann on my visits to London and her visits to Detroit. She was a lovely woman. My deepest sympathy to all her family. You are all on my prayers. With love Gail Benoit
I am so very grateful to have known Mrs. Ann Thornton from a young age to present. She was like a second Mom to many of us, with her welcoming smiles, wonderful sense of humour and her very notable intelligence. What an honour to have known her, she will be greatly missed! Michael and I send our deepest sympathies to the entire family.
So many sweet memories of our beloved matriarch through the decades. Kind and astute to the very end, Ann had a wicked sense of humour and a competitive streak that had her trump many in games of Scrabble. My father's first cousin, Ann held the lineage to Scotland's Black Isle. We loved her dearly and will continue to hold her in our hearts. Long may her voice sing in angelic choirs!
Such a sense of humour, quick wit, loving smile, and infectious singing. Your mum, our Aunt Anne, will be missed dearly. Thinking of you all.
