It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Marie King (née Beker). Surrounded by family, Ann passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at St Joseph’s Hospice. Ann is survived by her loving husband John, children Christopher (Jennifer) and Natalie; her beloved grandchildren Jameson and McKenna; brother Dennis Beker (Pam); and sisters Lynn Mytroen (John) and Michelle Lombardi (Al); and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Fern and Ernie Beker, and sister of the late Rick Beker (Catherine). Born on April 23rd, 1946 in Montreal, Ann became a multi-talented, wonderfully caring woman. She had a passion and a talent for baking and sewing, and enjoyed the friendship of her exercise group ladies and her Probus Club. Ann was an inspiration to all with the determination and strength she showed during her long battle with cancer. The family wishes to thank St. Joseph’s Hospice staff, the London Regional Cancer Clinic staff, St. Elizabeth nurses, VON PSW’s, and CCAC for the special care they gave Ann. A Celebration of Ann’s life will be held on Sunday, November 19th, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the CIVIC GARDENS, 645 Springbank Drive, London. All family and friends are welcome.
