Angelo Pepe

August 21, 2013

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, August 21st, 2013, with his family at his side, Mr. Angelo Pepe of London in his 89th year. The youngest of seven, Angelo was born in 1924 in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy. Married in 1951 to Carmela Pacifico, they immigrated to Venezuela with two children in tow. Canada proved to be their final destination settling in London in 1959. Angelo was a hard working man who started as a brick-layer and went on to become a well known builder of homes in London. He took great pride in watching his sons play soccer. Pa maintained his Italian traditions and passed that love on to his family. He enjoyed good food, wine, gardening and loved to hunt. Husband of the late Carmela (Pacifico) Pepe (2012). Much loved by his children Donato, Joseph (Michelle), Anthony (Katharine), Mary (Terry), Carmine (Angela), Michael (Lenka) and Franco (Jackie). Loved dearly by his 13 granddaughters. The Pepe family wish to express thanks to the caring staff of Ash Acres at the Dearness Home and to the medical staff of C.C.T.C. at Victoria Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 24th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Private entombment at St. Peter’s Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Although I didn't get the opportunity to meet your dad and Nonno, he must have been an amazing man to have created such a wonderful family. I am sure he will be missed and always in your hearts. With love, Paige, Dallas and Debbie
