Anastazia ‘Helen’ Pesek

Peacefully passed at her home surrounded by her daughters Lucy, Mary, son Peter and daughter-in-law June, (son Braven (Stan) arrived shortly thereafter). Anastazia ‘Helen’ Pesek got her wish to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the young age of 95 (59) years, 6 months and 5 days. The family wishes to thank the Health Care Team on Unit D6400 at the Victoria Hospital site for their care of our mother during the last weeks of her life. Mom, you will always be remembered by your strong faith in God, your kindness, good heart and your own sense of humour. Until we meet again with you in heaven-love you and will always keep you in our hearts, your five angels: Braven (Stan), Mary, Peter, Lucy and Denise.

I just came across this today, and am sorry to hear of your loss. I remember your mom and think of her fairly often. I remember her as strong, kind, hospitable and giving. She always welcomed you in, and wore a beautiful smile. The picture you selected was a great choice, I recognized her right away. She had a long, faith-filled journey, and will be missed.
