August 28, 1959 - June 24, 2023

It is with great sadness we share that Alicia Valle Bondi passed away peacefully, at the side of her loving family on Saturday, June 24th, 2023 in London, Ontario. Beloved wife of Agostino Bondi for 31 years, and adored mother to Marcello and Concetta Bondi, and son-in-law Fernando Daluiso. A treasured spouse, mother, sister, sister-in-law, and friend, Alicia lived a life that was an embodiment of love, unwavering faith, and compassion for others.

Born on August 28, 1959 in Arandas, Jalisco, México to parents Rafael Valle Ramirez and María Guadalupe González Hernández.

She will be deeply missed by her sisters Lourdes, Luz Zerafina, Lupita, Austre, Arcelia, Laura, Rosy and her brother Rafael, and her many nieces and nephews.

Alicia was always a source of love, support, and joy for those who were lucky enough to know her. Her devotion to God and her faith was the guiding light that carried through the ups and downs of life, and she shared that light with everyone she encountered.  Alicia is celebrated today and always, as a testament of endurance, kindness, and inspiration. She leaves behind a legacy of love. May God’s grace shine upon her now.

I met Alicia through my dear friend Lupita soon after she arrived from Mexico many years ago. I liked her immediately - her pleasant, open attitude and her eagerness to explore the city and countryside around. Over the years, we kept in touch at Christmas where her warmth and creativity showed in her carefully handcrafted cards. We met from time to time especially at family celebrations. In these last weeks, her courage and quiet acceptance blossomed under the tender care of Lupita, with visits from family near and far. A brave and good woman has gone from this earth and we are left diminished by the loss of her light.

In her quiet and unpretentious way, she left her mark on the lives of those closest to her. She definitely enriched the life of my dear Uncle Gus for many years and although she will be dearly missed by many family and friends alike, the impact she made will not be forgotten. Rest in peace, Dear Aunt. ❤️
