Peacefully at home on Saturday May 18, 2013 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Gordon Sutherland of London. Dear mother of Craig Sutherland (Sue Lindsay) of Brentwood Bay, BC, Scott Sutherland (Kathy Brandon) of London and Beth Sutherland (Pat Lariviere) of London. Gran to 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Sister of Rita Starycky of Midland and Mary Ball of Michigan. Maud will also be missed by Ella Davies, Joe and Lois Stackhouse, Nancy McNeil, Sandra Bester, Yvonne and Derek Floyd and many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Maud’s life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday July 6, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. Expressions of remembrance and donations to VON may be made through Westview Funeral Home (519) 641-1793 or online at www.westviewfuneralchapel.com

Dear Gordon, Beth, Craig, Scott and Family, We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Maud was such a beautiful person with a lovely spirit. Not only did she make my life special by connecting me with Beth on our lifelong friendship but as you know she recently touched our daughter Paige's life during her stay in London last year. Gord and Maud always made me feel special and loved in my "second " family throughout the years. We will miss her and will be sending loving thoughts and prayers as you grieve in the days and months ahead.
