Helen & Family we are thinking of you at this difficult time. Mart was an extrordinary person with a very giving heart. He was so proud of his family and always eager to share stories about where he came from. I am grateful for the letters he sent William over the years so that he too would know of his heritage. Just a couple of weeks ago William took one of Grandpa's childhood books to school to share with his History class. I am only sorry that he didn't get a chance to tell his Grandpa about it...he would have been so proud. Regretfully we are unable to attend the service but know that you are in our hearts and in our prayers. It was an honour to have known Mart and rest assured he is safe in God's arms. Love Lorrie and Don.
We are thinking about all of you with sincere sympathy on the loss of a wonderful man. Mart was one of a kind. He had an amazing life and will be remembered with love. We are in Florida so won't be able to attend the memorial service but you will be in our thoughts. Ed and Judy
