Sandra; Your sister in law Glenda was right. You were a Wonderful Daughter and Caregiver to your Parents. I am proud to know you. I shall miss your Mom as I have missed your Dad. Your Dad would just pick Josh and I up walking across town and would take us home (their house) for an excellent meal and to spend a few days. We always had alot to laugh about. I am proud to of known both of your parents and have and will enjoy their Legacy of Humour forever through the lives of their adventurous grandsons. Your Nephews Mother...Lorena..

Jay; The boys and I would like to tell you how sorry we are at your Moms passing. Joshua deeply feels your pain and displays it through humour. However, I am greatful to have met You and Your Family. I am glad that I have two large size legacies in the form of Our Sons, Joshua and Sam. The boys would like to send their love to you and let you know that you and Aunt Sandra are in their thoughts. Take Care. Love Joshua and Sam ....Lorena

Kelly & Family My deepest sympathy for your loss. The passing of your mother will not only leave a void in your lives, but in the hearts of all that knew her. She is gone but not forgotten. Take comfort in knowing that others are sharing in your sorrow.

To all the MacDonald Family Phil and I would like to say how sorry we are for the loss of your Mom. We always loved visiting your Family. Alberta always said what was on her mind , loved her laugh, she was a wonderful person. Your Mom and Dad always made us feel at home. She will be missed, but in a most wonderful place now with your Dad. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Love Phil and Marie

Back in 1979 I moved into a townhouse with my young son. I was working and not able to come home at noon. Fortunately, Alberta and Jack came to our rescue and opened their home to Todd. He has happy memories of lunch at the MacDonalds. Our sincere sympathies to all of you!

We had the good fortune of meeting Alberta last year when she came to be Ruth's room mate/partner in crime at Chelsey Park. Ruth and Alberta became wonderful friends and looked out for one another. Ruth referred to Alberta as "Babe" and she called Ruth "Ma". Alberta was a loyal and true friend. We shared many, many laughs and I will always remember her gorgeous smile and that chuckle. We will miss her very much and wish her family and friends comfort at this difficult time. Keep smiling Alberta! Your rarity and charisma will shine on like a diamond in our hearts forever!!!! Much Love from Ruth and Wendy.

A Thousand Winds Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. -Mary Frye Sending my condolences to the MacDonald Family. Alberta was truly a gem of a woman- her megawatt smile lit up the room...that contagious laugh and her zest for life. There wasn't a time I left my Nana and Alberta's room at Chelsea Park that she didn't have us all cracking up. I'm blessed to have met such an incredible woman. She will surely be missed.
