I am very sadened by the news this morning, Al & I spent alot of time together as kids, we grew up together. I have a ton of memories of our experiences together, which makes me regret not following up on our friendship over the years. I have not spoke to Al in 20years as we both moved away from New Hamburg to pursue our next stages of life. I send my deepest sympathies and thoughts to Al's family. Al was my neighbour and a good friend. I will never forget that.

God took him away from you, not so long ago, he promised he'd never leave you, you will miss him so. When I reflect back ..... a mere 22 years ago, I think about being dropped off the high school bus, and Alan walking along the way with me as I headed to my after school job.
