Alan Charles Hughes in his 93rd year, passed peacefully into His Eternal Father’s arms on Saturday, October 5, 2024. At his bedside were his loving wife, Miriam of 71 years, along with his daughter and son with their spouses.
Predeceased by his 5 brothers; Ronald, Phillip, Norman, Jim and Tony, as well as his two sons; Michael and Martin. Loving father of Gail Reid and husband Ross, Glenn and wife Shelley. Grandfather to Joshua, Sarah, Michelle, Bryan and Cassandra along with their partners. Great-grandfather to Noelle, Ireland, Tristan, Rachel and Karlie.
Alan lived a wonderful life and cherished his family, he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Urology Department of St Joseph’s Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday, October 20th at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.
