Passed peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the age of 79. Loving husband of Aida Ghali. Devoted father of Omnia Masoud (Gamal Awad) and Ashraf Masoud (Christine Askander), and grandfather of Joseph, Daniel, Sarah Awad & Youssef and Gina Masoud. Brother of Camelia Nashed (the late Dr. Saad Boulos), the late Marguerite Nashed (Dr. Samy Kamel) and the late Dr. Asaad Masoud (Dr. Pam Masoud). Adel was the son of the late Dr. Nashed Abdelmessih and the late Eugenie Morcos. He will be greatly missed by his family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A service of condolences will be conducted on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church, 1151 Royal York Road, London, where the Holy Liturgy will be conducted on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 9:00 a.m., with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Woodland Cemetery. Aghapy to follow at the church.
