Protect, Connect, Inspire
The Conservation Halton Foundation is a registered charitable organization that strives to protect our natural lands, connect our community with nature, and inspire individuals and groups to affect meaningful change.
You can help the Conservation Halton Foundation make a difference. By donating money and/or time you can help protect our species and spaces, and restore environmentally significant natural areas and watercourses. With your help we can purchase natural lands to create new conservation areas or enhance existing protected areas connecting people with nature through outdoor sport and recreation. Your support will enable education programs that are inspiring the next generation of healthy, ecologically conscious citizens. We know that fostering an awareness and understanding of environmental issues is essential to tackle critical challenges like pollution and climate change.
Donations have recently helped us to:
- Purchase and permanently conserve 100 acres of natural land which provides habitat for many species and links to other protected areas.
- Plant thousands of trees each year.
- Build new enclosures for our birds of prey at the Mountsberg Raptor Centre.
- Annually teach 5,300 Halton area students about the importance of forests and waterways in our community.
The charitable sector has been one of the hardest hit by COVID-19. We remain truly grateful for all the support we have received during these trying times.
