Tony Scolaro
April 23, 2025
It is with immense sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Tony, who was surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital in London on April 23, 2025, at the age of 64. He was the beloved husband of Joanne Scolaro (Nero) for 40 years. Loving and proud father to Michael Scolaro and daughter-in-law Amanda Scolaro (Mulder). He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Rita Scolaro, and predeceased by his father, Fortunato Scolaro. He is missed greatly by his in-laws, Aldo and Anna Nero. Tony will be truly missed by his siblings, Lorenzo (Sheila), John (Anna), Cathy (Gaetano), Fortunato Jr., and by his sister-in-law, Teresa, and brother-in-law, Anito. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Tony was born in Sicily, Italy and came to Canada with his family at the age of 10. He worked at 3M Canada for 36 years. He was an avid car enthusiast. Tony was always doing things for other people and was quick to roll up his sleeves to offer a helping hand. He was a devoted husband and father. He will be sorely missed by his fur baby, Joey, and grand fur babies, Bruno and Dio.
Cremation has taken place. A private funeral service will be held.

My condolences to Joanna, Michael and the entire Scolaro family. I worked with Tony at 3M in his early years in London. We shared a common family backward, being born in Italy and immigrating to Canada as children. We had many chats on this commonality. Tony was a true gentleman, kind and respectful. Riposa in pace Tony.
Prayers of comfort for Tony's family. Peace. I recall Tony as a kind gentleman who took a deep interest in all conversations, whenever, work-wise or general hallway and parking lot encounters.

This is very sad news. I worked with Tony at 3M for many years. Our paths would cross with common customers who needed help with Traffic Safety related products. He was very customer focused and helpful to all who worked with him. My sincere condolences.
I had the privilege of working with Tony at 3M, and I also know his son, Michael, as both a friend and colleague. What always stood out to me about Tony was his kindness and gentle spirit. He loved his family deeply, and it showed in his smile as well as everything he did. I believe Tony will continue to watch over his family, and his memory will live on as a reminder to all of us of what it means to be a truly good person. We are all a little better for having known him. I offer my deepest condolences to Michael, Joanne, and the entire family. My heart is with you during this difficult time
I worked with Tony for several years at 3M in the Traffic Safety Division. We spent four days at a trade show in New Orleans in 2017. Needless to say, plenty of meals and time together. He shared with me the love he had for his immediate family, siblings, and extended family in the Niagara peninsula. He was always gentleman and a true professional with his job. My words of sympathy are inadequate with the grief and sorrow the family is going through right now. Tony was taken too soon.
We are so saddened to hear about Tony. We have been neighbours for so many years. We loved our chats with him. He had such pride in his home and was always busy renovating and keeping it pristine. Tony was so friendly and easy going. We will miss him so very much💔and his big smile.
I worked with Tony for many years at 3M and he was the consummate gentleman. He was always helpful and so easy going. RIP Tony.
My deepest condolences to all of Tony’s family. I worked with Tony at 3M for many years. He was a true professional and also a gentleman. I am so sorry for your loss.
Tony was the best big brother anyone could ever have. He was very knowledgeable and full of great advice that I will miss the most. One of the most giving people I ever knew. Tony was the family pillar of our family when my father passed. This one hits hard. You will be sorely missed brother. Love you.
Tony was the best brother in law in the world ♥️ he was like no other. Anito and I were honoured and blessed to have had you be a part of our life. You always spoiled me as a kid and bought me the best gifts but most of all you were there in my life when it mattered most. Joanne you watched over me as my big sister and treated Juliana like your own daughter and Michael became my favourite nephew of all. We love you and Mike & Amanda and we will always watch over the 3 of you no matter what life brings. Love your baby sister Teresa & Anito ♥️
