Peacefully, at University Hospital, London, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Maria Mendonca passed away at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Joe Mendonca (2020). Loving mother of Tony Mendonca and Daniel Mendonca. Survived by her niece and two sister-in-laws in Canada, as well as many nieces and nephews in the United States and Portugal. Maria was predeceased by her parents and siblings.
A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior (11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.). Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Maria are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
