Helen Mabel (née Hardy) Rosevear

After a long struggle with dementia, Helen had to move to Chelsey Park Long Term Care Home, where she passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Larry Rosevear for 48 years. Treasured mother of David (Aleda) and Caroline (Doug). Loving grandmother of Jesse (Danielle), Amber (Joe) and Nicole (Taylor); cherished great-grandmother of Harrison and Jacob. Dear aunt of Matthew Hardy (Melissa). Predeceased by her brother Donald Hardy and his wife Marilyn. A special thank you to Helen’s beloved dementia dog Charlotte.

Helen and Larry were avid modern square and cued round dancers for 25 years with local London clubs, and travelled to many out-of-town special events and to national conferences in different provinces. For over 25 years, they usually took a two-week winter and summer vacation, by visiting several states, several Canadian provinces, parts of Europe and the United Kingdom, plus trips to Alaska and the Yukon.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service being conducted at 12:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A livestream of the service will be available for those unable to attend in person.

Reception to follow the service. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to date in memory of Helen are asked to donate to the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners or a charity of their choice.
