I had the pleasure of knowing Ann through the Canadian Welsh Singers. She was a beautiful singer with a beautiful soul. She was a lovely person. My sincerest condolences to her family.
Ann was a valued member of the Canadian Welsh Singers (now Cantorion) for many years. We shared good times, great music, lots of food, and plenty of laughter. It was a joy to sing with her. Did you know she had the "second sight?" A true fairy god-mother. I will always remember that twinkle in her eye! Condolences to all her family.
Ann was a beautiful Christian lady. She always had a smile and was so pleasant! I am honoured to have met her and spend some time with her. Carrie and Scott and family My deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Christine and Tim and family My sincere condolences and sympathy for the loss of your dear Mother, Mother in law and grandmother.
I so very much loved visiting to Ann in London and her and Doug coming to Detroit to visit us. She had a kind and generous spirit. I will miss her.
I have so many lovely memories of Ann on my visits to London and her visits to Detroit. She was a lovely woman. My deepest sympathy to all her family. You are all on my prayers. With love Gail Benoit
I am so very grateful to have known Mrs. Ann Thornton from a young age to present. She was like a second Mom to many of us, with her welcoming smiles, wonderful sense of humour and her very notable intelligence. What an honour to have known her, she will be greatly missed! Michael and I send our deepest sympathies to the entire family.
So many sweet memories of our beloved matriarch through the decades. Kind and astute to the very end, Ann had a wicked sense of humour and a competitive streak that had her trump many in games of Scrabble. My father's first cousin, Ann held the lineage to Scotland's Black Isle. We loved her dearly and will continue to hold her in our hearts. Long may her voice sing in angelic choirs!
Such a sense of humour, quick wit, loving smile, and infectious singing. Your mum, our Aunt Anne, will be missed dearly. Thinking of you all.
