Helen and David, I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mum. I have many memories of "Mrs. Martin" from my youth and I hope she and my mum are somewhere lovely getting caught up over a drink. Thinking of you all.

I met Pat in Riverbend only a few years ago. We immediately recognized that we had lived close to each other growing up in North Shields, England. We attended different schools but took the same trains to Newcastle, went to the same cinemas and could still speak to each other in a broad Geordie dialect! I had meant to contact her again, but my husband's illness intervened, I wish we had been able to have more time together. My thoughts are with her family.
