Patricia Ann Nettleton

September 27, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, peacefully in her home, on Friday, September 27, 2024, surrounded by many of her loved ones. She lived her life for her family and will be remembered for how much she loved them unconditionally. Pat was the beloved wife of the late Francis Nettleton (1995); the amazing mother of Mary Jo Arsenault (Mike), Maureen Hennessy (Mark), Lisa Ford (Tom), Lori Bedford (Geoff), and sadly predeceased by her son Tim Nettleton. Fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Gudgeon (Brent). One-of-a-kind Nana to 14 wonderful grandchildren and GG of 5 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hamilton and all the staff at St. Elizabeth Health Care.

Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.

My heartfelt condolences to all the family. I've lived up the street from Pat for many years, but unfortunately never knew her very well. I still remember her sitting out on Jean's porch visiting . I certainly remember Maureen, Mary Jo and I do also remember Tim, but my memory of the other girls is foggy. Thinking of you all at this time. Sincerely Mary Ann

I have such fond memories of Mrs. Nettleton - sitting on Nana and Nandad's porch, visiting her at the Brandy Tree, and swimming in her pool as children. She was always so friendly and loving. Wishing the whole family happy memories to carry your hearts through this difficult time.

~ Janine Langley

Sending all of our love to your family during this difficult time. I will remember Mrs Nettleton fondly , as her and Nana would laugh and laugh during their visits. She was a special friend to both my Nana and my Nandad. And when we moved onto her street, she was always interested in our family and how our kids were growing. We will miss her.

Pat, I still remember the first time I met you at Cynthia’s in the backyard and were joking with you. I liked you from the moment we first spoke and still think you are the best! Love you always ❤️😁

~ Brent Gudgeon

Mrs. Pat Nettleton was the Mother-in-law to my sister Cynthia. Having been a friend of Tim as well as a brother-in-law, I got to know Tim’s parents through him. We were always welcomed by Pat and regularly invited to come over for a swim which we did. We referred Pat to our kids as “Nana Pat” and brought them over occasionally, especially on Halloween when they were little. Pat was very special, always had a welcoming smile and was always ready for a joke! We will miss her dearly. Rest in peace, Pat. Love, Edward Greene and family
