Jason Garnet Teeter
August 13, 2024
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jason Garnet Teeter on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the age of 52, with Kendra, Ryan and Allison by his side. Beloved husband of Kendra for 28 years. Father of Ryan and Allison Teeter. Son of Ron and Rita Teeter. Missed by his siblings Jamie Teeter and Katharine Denis (James). Brother-in-law to Ron Plaskett, Brian Plaskett (Shelley), Terri Plaskett, and Kevin Plaskett. Son-in-law of Marjorie Plaskett and the late William Plaskett. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and close family and friends. Jason was a devoted family man and a positive soul, always looking for a good laugh. He always used “Teeter Tough” to give him strength through fighting a valiant battle with cancer. He loved fishing, fixing the car, road trips, and being with his loved ones. Prior to his sickness, he donated 99 times to Neonates in need of blood, and was devastated he couldn’t continue; in his honour, Ryan finished his 100th donation. Visitation will take place at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. A private family interment will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery and Holy Family Mausoleum. A very special thank you to the staff at LHSC – Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre, and the numerous doctors involved in Jason’s care. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jason are asked to consider the LHSC – Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre – Esophageal or Lung Cancer Program.

Jason was a great friend I will surely miss the conversations we had.I learned a lot from his wisdom and wit. He always loved watching wrestling with his brother and family ,Kurt Angle was one of his favourites. May he rest in peace and comfort in God's love till we meet again.
Dear Kendra, Ryan, and Allison. Jason taught us all so many things, especially how to be strong when times are tough and to never let your spirit dim! What a wonderful, sweet nephew he was and we always loved our phone chats with him. He had the ability to make you laugh even though you were crying inside. Love you always Jason!
I'd like to send my condolences to my family as Jason was always a great person and cousin and will be deeply missed Love kim
