Genuinely good guy who cared about his work. Always ensuring the soldiers were engaged and receiving valuable training. Showed much promise and had so much more to give. Left us way too soon. Rest easy now brother. We who remain now have the guard.

I was fortunate enough to become close with Lt Uzoegwu in a very short time. We worked together but he felt more like a friend who I trusted and enjoyed seeing. He will be missed. My thoughts are with your family at this time.

I knew Somebi as a little boy, I was looking forward to being a part of his marriage ceremony in Nigeria. My dear sister Amaka had spoke to me a week earlier about us making the trip. A week later I heard the news of Somebi's untimely passing. This was devastating news, I still can't wrap my brain around it. Amaka, Somi and husband, Sonachi and Chiedu please accept my heartfelt condolences. Ndo nnu! May the soul of Somebi rest in perfect peace.

My deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Somebi. We are all still shocked and deeply saddened by this tragedy. His loss will be felt by all who served with him for years to come. I served with him in Kuwait on his recent deployment and will remember him fondly for his athleticism and dedication. He was eager to learn new roles and duties, and I will remember the many hours we spent together discussing how best to navigate processes and issues to improve the way things were done in our organization. Somebi, our hearts are shattered into many pieces by your untimely death! You future was so bright and promising before the wicked hands of death snatched you away from us😭😭😭! I don’t know what to say or how to comprehend it, but to pray for the repose of your gentle and beautiful soul. May God grant you eternal rest , comfort your family and give us all the strength to bear this irreparable loss. It is so sad that such a promising life was cut short. Who are we to complain,though? God has a reason for everything. It is a devastating blow, but please take heart Uzzy.
