Dear Dad, You were the rock in my life, I always looked up to you for guidance to show me the path to take in life. Saying goodbye to Grandpa you was never going to be easy. These last few weeks have been some of the hardest moments I’ve ever witnessed, but within those moments have also come some of the most beautiful memories. You opened my eyes to the strength of our bond. A bond that I always knew was there, but turned out to be stronger than I could have ever imagined it to be. I won’t ever forgot the strength and love you showed me during your last days. I promise to never stop wearing ripped jeans (you certainly “loved” those). I promise to never forget how cute I am (you made sure I knew it). And most importantly I promise to never forget that you made me ‘the boss’ (though I think the rest of the family might be questioning your judgement there!). I will carry your love with me wherever I go 🤍 Rest easy my Gentle Giant, don’t worry about Grammie, we’ll take good care of her xo
