Pearl Girvan (née Martin)

Peacefully on Friday, July 12, 2024, Pearl Girvan of London (formerly of Scarborough and Richmond Hill) passed away surrounded by love and support. Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter, and sisters Ruth and Vivian.  Dear mother of Joanne, Susan, and Annie.

Pearl will be remembered by her many friends at Oakcrossing Retirement Home, where she spent seven happy years. The family would like to thank the Oakcrossing staff for their care over her years there and give heartfelt thanks for their care of Mom, and support for her family, in her final weeks. Special thanks also to Dr. Eric Wong, Dr. James MacLean and their teams.

A family and friends celebration of Pearl’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pearl’s memory may be made to Doctors Without Borders.

we have precious memories of Pearl and Walter while they lived in Richmond Hill, They were very active at St Matthews United Church. Pearl was always willing to bake for church functions , her scotch cookies were scrumptious. We will always remember Pearls warm smile. RIP Bill and Bertha .
