My sincere condolences to the Wright family. While attending Clarke Road Secondary School, Sandy was a good friend of mine. I’m sure the happy memories of his many accomplishments will sustain all who loved him.

Carole and Family, Thank you for sharing Sandy with us. He started his 2nd career at the City in 94 and we were happy to have him on the team. His expertise was often shadowed by being such a wonderful co-worker and friend to all. He played a special role for me and so many others -at a time when he could've been playing Sunningdale. Our deepest condolences to Carole and family on the sudden loss of Sandy. We have so many fond memories of our get togethers, and Dad and Sandy's golfing days. I was very sad to learn of Sandy’s sudden passing. I was privileged enough to know him for several decades because of my dad and his basketball friends. Always larger than life, he had a heart of gold and the warmest smile. Sandy always had time to catch up and share stories. He was and always will be one of my BBall dads, I will miss him dearly. My deepest condolences.

Heather and I shocked to hear of Sandy’s passing especially because he seemed so well when we were fortunate to spend some time with him so recently. Sandy was a giant amongst men. He was a police officer whose word was his bond. He served the community for his lifetime and exemplified “the good cop “. A man of integrity. Despite life challenges he remained optimistic for the future. He leaves a legion of friends who were fortunate to have known him. Rest in peace, Sandy. We extend our condolences to Carole and the family. May you be comforted by memories of happy times together.

My condolences to the family...I knew him when he worked in the fraud department at LPS back in the day and would occasionally meet for lunch when he and McCaffery took their skill sets to London Welfare. Great guy

My deepest condolences to the whole Wright family. Tom Wildgust was my husband (he passed in Aug 2023). I feel Tom & Sandy had a special “thing” they did but maybe Sandy did this with others. When they shook hands, they’d grip as tightly as they could, until someone cried “uncle“. Sandy was a great guy who had an infectious laugh and smile. He will be missed.

Our Deepest Condolences to Carole and the Wright Family and everyone he had an impact on in his life. I remember him as a very kind and welcoming man with a warm presence. Loving and giving of himself to everyone he came across. His strong spirit will live on in the hearts of his children and grandchildren ❤️
