Beverley Jean Fraser

September 5, 1942 - February 20, 2024

Comforted by the love of her daughter, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, Beverley Fraser (née Parker) peacefully passed away in her 82nd year. Born in Halifax (Elderbank), NS on September 5, 1942. Daughter of the late B. Jean Eaton (née Cruickshank) and the late William Allen “Bill” Parker. Beloved partner of the late Gerrit “Gerry” Koops of Port Stanley. Predeceased by her son, Michael Kevin Lawson of Bonfield, from her first marriage to Gordon “Gordie” Lawson, and brother Wayne Parker (Kitty). Loved mother of Kimberley “Kimmie” O’Keeffe (Tim) of Whitby. Beverley is survived by her second husband Kenneth Fraser, father of Kimmie and Heather Brine (Steve) of St. Marys. Cherished sister of Helen Wiesner (David), Lorraine Parker and brother Bruce Parker (Nicole). Beverley will be truly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many close friends.

Beverley will be remembered for her love of being surrounded by positive people who made her laugh. She was happiest when she was entertaining, listening to music and dancing the night away. She formed many friendships during her days at Portside Marina. Her love of fashion, beauty and design was a constant throughout her life. Beverley took great pride in her classy sense of style and would never pass up the opportunity to compliment others on theirs.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude for the extraordinary care provided to Beverley in her final stages of life by the Medicine Gold Team at LHSC. Special thanks to the entire Chartwell Royalcliffe staff, Niels Jensen, Shilo Brewster and all her supportive friends and neighbours who made her final days comfortable, safe and joyous during her darkest times.

As per Beverley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are welcome to attend her memorial service at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.

Bev, your journey with us may have come to an end, but your spirit lives on in our hearts and memories. I’ve known Bev for many years, being her hairstylist I got the privilege of having bi weekly visits with her, I always looked forward to them. Bev was a ball of energy who had a great sense of style and so young at heart. Her purple streak in her hair made her so happy and I’m so thankful I could be part of her happiness. Rest in peace my friend, you will be greatly missed.
