Quietly on Sunday, January 28th, 2024, Doreen Davies passed away in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Norman Davies for 57 years. Adored mother of Julie MacVoy (Mark), Colin Davies, and Chris Davies (Chantal). Cherished grandmother of Keegan, Erin, Emma, Olivia and William. Dear sister of Frank (Carol) and Steve (Jill). Predeceased by her eldest brother Alan (Jan). Doreen will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Doreen, an enthusiastic badminton player and golfer, embraced every game with joy and vigor. She maintained her love for these sports alongside her incredible friends, actively participating until November 2023, demonstrating her enduring passion and spirit.

The Davies family wishes to extend a special thank you to Helen, Renee, Nyaa, Maria, and the rest of the staff at Parkwood Palliative Care for their sincere and compassionate care for Doreen in her final days. A celebration of Doreen’s life will be held at Firerock Golf Club, 10345 Oxbow Drive, Komoka on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.  Appetizers and drinks will be served.
