Brian was born in Toronto on October 17, 1941 to Harry and Norma Hepburn of Toronto, Ontario.
Brian met the love of his life, Shirley Anne Hepburn (née Gilroy), and they married on August 17, 1963. They were blessed with two children, Kimberley Anne Rusin (Ted) and Christopher John Hepburn (Vicki). Survived by his grandchildren Emily, Connor, Myranda, and Robin. Brian was a great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren, and a step-grandfather to Pascale and Elliot. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Norma Hepburn and his brother Mark Hepburn. After graduating from high school, Brian went on to become an accountant through the Registered Industrial Accountant Canada (RIA). He began his career in the insurance industry but moved on to work at 3M Canada where he was a Cost Accountant. Brian retired from 3M in 2001.
He was an avid golfer, woodworker, and a Jeopardy champion that no one knew about. He shared this love of knowledge with his children and grandchildren.
A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and medical staff at University Hospital for all the care they gave him and a big thank you for Dr. Mario Elia and Ray Kanayson, whose guidance meant so much to us.

We are so sorry for the loss of Uncle Brian. We always got so excited about the 3M packages he would bring my dad. It was so exciting because you never knew what was going to be in the box! I remember Uncle Brian as being my first real knowledge about golf. He loved his grandchildren so much and it was evident in the pride whenever he spoke about them. He will be missed.
Kim and family, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this very sad time. Brenda and Dave Waugh
