Thomas ‘Tom’ McKinley

I am so sorry to hear of Tons passing. I know this comes late but wanted to send my condolences. I had only reconnected with Tom via Facebook a few years ago. We were good friends in grades 7-10 and hung out at the Berkshire club as young teens. I’m so sorry for your loss. I could se Tim was surrounded by a loving family. My condolences to his wife, family and grandchildren.

It is with great sadness to hear of the loss of Tom. Tom was our landscaper at Z Group for 25 or more years . Tom was not only a business acquaintance but a great friend. We always chatted about the Leafs and other sports teams first and business 2nd. Tom always wore a smile and put a light on everyone’s day! Tom McKinley was a great man, mentor and friend. He gave me a chance early on and helped to shape who I am. As a small business owner, he was wound tight at times -But always able to wind down when the work was done. Great memories with him would be trips to MIS to cheer on #3 The Intimidator, trips to L/O congress and the Friday Chatham runs...... A proud man with a wonderful, wonderful family. I met Tom when he started coming to our farm to buy firewood we always had good visits solving world problems as we loaded wood. I am so sorry for your loss he was a great guy

We met Tommy when he and Terry started their love story. It was so heartwarming to see the big smile he put on Terry’s face right to the last time I saw them in May. He was so proud of his family and our hearts hurt for all of them. Peace and love to all!

I’m so very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. I went to school with Tom and was so happy for Terry when he join the family. I’m sorry I’m not able to be there to celebrate his life with you all, but please know that I do recognize what a deep and significant loss this represents to such a tight knit, loving family. I met Tom when i went to woodland heights public school. We grew into be great friends along with others Even after 50 yrs of friendship when ever we got together it was like we were 17 again. He was a good family man and with Terry beside him they raised a family the way a family is supposed to be , always friendly and inviting . His work ethic was un matched but still family comes first They were not mother and father but friends also I feel fortunate to have been a close friend and will miss running into him in the middle of the night plowing and having a great moment to chat about whatever I miss you buddy

I was given the greatest opportunity to get to know senior over the last eight years and had the pleasure of him becoming my father-in-law this past summer. Senior was a great dad a great grandfather, a great husband, and even greater best friend to Thomas. he will be so missed by so many . forever in our heart.🤍
