Peacefully with family by her bedside, at University Hospital, on Monday, October 23, 2023. Gladys was 79 years old. Beloved partner and friend of Stu Murray, and their dog Layla. Loving mother of Dawn Elliott (Carl Swanson), Mary Jean (Joe) Finley, Allen (Tammie) Elliott, and Sherri (John) Bryan. Adored grandmother of Nicholas Terpstra (Tim Lee), Leah (Matt) Blagden, Jennifer Malolepszy, Stephanie (Marcel) Therrien, Kris (Eleisha) Elliott, John (Courtney) Finley, and Amber (Ryan) Pare. Dear great-grandmother of Alexis Therrien, Jayna Pare, Halina Malolepszy, Lucas Malolepszy, Anya Finley, and Joey Finley. Survived by her sisters Dorothy Schnittker, Linda Campbell, Kathy Rook, Debbie Campbell, and brother Lindsay Scott. Adored friend of Terri and Nick Hiscox; their family: Curtis, Matthew and Becca; Scott and Angela Murray; their family, Kayleigh, Austin, Matty and Quinn. Predeceased by her father Herman Deline; mother, Mary Scott; and sisters, Bertha Brown, Martha (Tiny) Hill, and Barb Boudreau.
Gladys was a very caring Mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who wore her heart on her sleeve. She loved the outdoors including camping, sailing, and snowmobiling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her most endearing quality was her compassion and ability to love.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. A livestream of the Celebration of Life is available for those unable to attend in person. Reception to follow. Interment at Ivan Cemetery, 24143 Nairn Road, Middlesex Centre, immediately following the reception, for those who would like to join.

We camped together for many years and it gave us great memories. I will miss your emails and asking Dawn how you were keeping. Will miss your great friendship. Sorry family for your great loss of your Mom
