Robert ‘Bob’ Wayne Watson
October 23, 2023
Surrounded by his family, Robert ‘Bob’ Wayne Watson peacefully passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the age of 68. Survived by wife Brenda; sons: Chris (Lisa) and Brian (Alex); daughter, Katie (Ryan); Grandsons, Benny, Desi, and Levi; and sister, Lynn Watson. Predeceased by parents Carl and Audrey Watson, and in-laws Bev and Stan Waugh. Fondly remembered by his five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. He was deeply loved by his family, friends and neighbours. Bob loved his classic cars and Boston Bruins (may they continue their winning streak!). He had a larger than life personality, was a great Dad, and was always willing to help others with his talent to fix almost anything. A special thank you to all the nurses and doctors at LHSC for their care and compassion. At Bob’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation.

Dear Brenda and family our condolences to you all at this time. We remember the good times we all had when we were younger and I enjoyed working with Bob and spending time at the farm with his old cars .Thinking of all of you at this time.
Brenda, our condolences to you and your family on the passing of Bob. I recall fondly the conversations and “colour” Bob would add to the Watson family gatherings while playing cards or crokinole, or camping. Bob was always curious about our world out here in the west as well. Sorry for your loss. Tom
Dear Brenda and Family, We remember your dear husband and father to be a lovely man. Always pleasant and enjoyable to be with. We are truly sorry for you loss and we hope your many fond memories will always help to ease your days. Love, Pat & Ken
To all the Watson family, we are so truly sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of our terrific younger years together. Bob will forever remain in my thoughts, a very kind, generous and sincere friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of grief.
So sorry to hear about Bob’ s passing Always enjoyed our visits when Carl and Bob came to the Mitchell Fall Fair with Carl’s tractor May all your wonderful memories help you through this difficult time
Brenda, I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincerest condolences for you and your family as you navigate through this time of grief and sorrow.
Aunt Brenda, Chris & Lisa (Benny & Desi), Bri & Alex (Levi), my Katie Girl & Ryan, and all the Tunks, Watson and Waugh families, I am sending much love and the strongest hugs right now. Uncle Bob I will truly miss you. Over the years you and I shared a lot. You were one of my Euchre buddies (even though it drove me CRAZY) when you never passed on making it even if you had the crappiest hand ever dealt). We both loved the Bruins (but I jumped ship when Ottawa brought the Sens back), and we both would use a very colourful vocabulary when the occasion called for it. You bonded with my husband Tim over old cars, including helping him out with his ‘69 firebird convertible. Although I will miss you terribly, these memories plus many more, will always keep me smiling whenever I hear your name, watch a hockey game, or play cards. Love you always… Lisa ( Tim, Cassidy and Kendra) Brown
I send my sincere condolences during this time of sorrow. The Bible promises that your loved one will live again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4)
