Peacefully and surrounded by family, at University Hospital on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Leigh Johnson (née Anglin). Cherished father of Lauree Wheeler (Bill), Bruce Johnson (Brenda) and Paul Johnson (Karen). Proud Grandpa of Raymond, Matthew, Sean, and Aaron Wheeler, Taylor, Bradley, Nicole and Christina Johnson. Brother to Margaret Feeney (Michael). Brother-in-law to Margaret Mary Johnson, Frank Haggarty, and Peter and Karen Anglin. Predeceased by his siblings Bill Johnson (Marianne), Marie Hardy (Robert), Patrick Johnson, Neil Johnson (Lucienne), Ella Abdallah (Willy), Michael Johnson, Betty Haggarty, Madeline Blackmore (Leo) Rosemary Johnson, and Patricia Gignac. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ted are asked to consider Diabetes Canada or a charity of their choice.
