Connie Nelson

May 24, 1927 - September 12, 2023

In the early hours of Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Connie passed away peacefully. Her life was full and long, and she remained spirited, fun, loving and strong until the very end. Her final days were spent surrounded with the love of those who mattered most in her life and she never doubted how much she was loved. Connie was predeceased by her husband, Bob, in 2022. Left behind to mourn her passing are her son Brad and daughter-in-law Karen; grandchildren Jennifer (Trevor) and Shannon; and great-granddaughter Ava. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Michael Hall; and grandsons Aaron (Aimee), Adam (Erin); and great grandchildren Ashlyn, Ainsley, Tyler, and James.

Charles and Diana, we will be eternally grateful for the compassion, friendship, love and care you provided to Connie over the years.  You were family to her, and are to us. Jenni, the time you spent and everything you have done for your gramma over the years meant the world to her. You were the bright spot in so many of her days.

Today, we are saddened to know that our time with Connie has ended. But, we also celebrate a long life, lived well.  Cremation has taken place. A private interment and celebration of Connie’s life is being planned.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Connie are asked to consider The Salvation Army.

I send my deepest sympathy in this time of sorrow. The Bible promises that your loved one will live again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4)

Connie, I am missing you already. We shared a special bond and u have a very special place in my heart. I know we aren't suppose to get attached to our residents but you were my exception. I loved you like my Grandmother as you reminded me so much of her. You will forever be with me. Connie, you are no longer in pain and now with Bob, together once again. I will see you again one day, this is not good bye it's see you later. To Jenny, you were so special to you Gramma, she spoke highly of you. I would always ask her if you had been to visit recently, and she would light up if you had been. Now that she will always be with you. To the rest if the family, I am so very sorry for you loss. Sending lots of hugs to you all.
