Elizabeth Jean ‘Betty’ Henderson
July 2, 2023
Passed away peacefully at University Hospital on Sunday, July 2, 2023. Her children were with her and beside her all the way.
Betty was the beloved only child of Robert (1972) and Madeline (1992) Whyte. Loving wife of Jack Henderson (1983) and Bud Fraser (2014). Dearly loved mother of Jayne (Jim Terry), Norah (Ian Hunter), and John (Elaine Henderson). She was very special to the Fraser children Pam Damoff and Jill (Rob Chapman). She knew each of her grandchildren so well, and loved and enjoyed them, as they loved and enjoyed her. They are Alexandra (Wes Dawkins), Katelynd (Adam Priest), Emma (Mike Egeler), Mitchell (Anna Maria Henderson), Fraser (Taylor Damoff), and Bayley Chapman. Betty was a happy and loving great-grandmother to James Dawkins, Olivia Priest, Cameron Damoff, and Jack Henderson. After moving to London in 1953 with her husband Jack, Betty made a happy home and was the heart of our family. Her spirit will be so missed by all who knew her.

To all of Aunt Betty’s family, So sorry to have read of her passing today. She was a wonderful person, though we did not have the opportunity to see her often. Prayers to the family. -Linda (Fraser) Robbins
I’ve just finished participating in Betty’s Memorial Service through the miracle of the live feed. Thank you so much for making this possible. Her essence was perfectly captured in every aspect of the service. I could hear her laugh, see her smile, rejoice in her pride of family, giggle when reminded of the love of butter and Laura Secords (so shared by my John)! The statement that Betty “listened, cared, and remembered” was very true. It marked her as one of the exceptional humans I have known. Love, Beverly

Betty was a very special lady. I so appreciated her kindness and enjoyed her impish sense of humour. I had great times playing cribbage with her and Norah. She could beat us both right up to the end. I will sadly miss her.
Betty was a wonderful lady. Uncle Bud and Betty shared many happy years together. Betty’s upbeat personality and positivity were like none other. You will be missed by so many lives you touched. 🙏🏻 🌹 Patricia & Jeff Fraser

Grandma H always made me feel so loved and so part of the family. I am forever grateful for that. She radiated warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Nothing feels quite like the way my cheeks hurt from smiling after spending time with Grandma H! Thank you for making her service available online, what a beautiful tribute! How lucky we are to have been loved by her, she will be so missed! Sending you all my condolences and love, Courtney
