I met James only a handful of times, when he attended a sharing circle in White Rock. The gentle rawness and vulnerability in his sharing was breathtaking. Yet the light and beauty in him shone through, despite his struggles. One night he showed up at the end of a meeting with his giant bubble supplies. A small group of us went out to the back parking lot, and he made magic for us, by the glow of the streetlights. He is the inspiration behind my own bubble making, and I was able to share with him how special that was to me, for my own enjoyment and to pass on to others. I tried to look him up today, and found his obituary. For his family and friends, I'm sorry you lost him too soon. I'm so grateful to have met him.
