Thomas ‘Tom’ Cameron Gramlich
May 3, 2023
Peacefully at Earls Court Village on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the age of 79, after a lengthy struggle with Parkinson’s disease and severe scoliosis. Beloved husband and soulmate of Jo-Ann (née Pearce) Gramlich for 33 years. Survived by his special sister Teresa Kennedy; nephews: Ronald (Debbie), Scott, and Jayden; and nieces: Reta (Ken), Connie, Jennifer and Amanda. Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Evaline (née Brown) Gramlich, and by his sister Nancy Simpson. Tom was a long-time custodian with the former board of education of the City of London. He was a graduate of the University of Western, Ontario and Fanshawe College. Tom enjoyed attending craft shows, antique shows, and the theatre. He did beautiful needlework, plastic canvas and tole painting, and spent many happy hours in his workshop. Tom enjoyed pleasant summers at the trailer in Bayfield. Tom and Jo-Ann travelled to many wonderful places, both at home and abroad. Jo-Ann will always remember with love the surprise anniversary weekends and the special occasion dinners. Tom’s endearing smile, beautiful blue eyes, and dry sense of humour will always remain in our hearts. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at the scattering garden at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Tom are asked to consider Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario (123-4096 Meadowbrook Drive, London ON N6L 1G4) or the memorial fund at Siloam United Church (1240 Fanshawe Park Road East, London ON N5X 3Z8).
