Peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Shirley (née Machan) for almost 50 years. Loving father of Kelly and Carl Duncan of London, ON, and Lisa and Paul Bernhardt of Bellingham, Washington State, USA. Treasured Papa to his special grandson Tayshaun Duncan. He is survived by sister-in-law Sylvia Anderson, and brothers and sisters-in-law Ethel Walker, Robert and Theresa Machan, Mary and Robert Fotheringham, and Donald and Linda Machan, as well as several nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Madeline Turner, parents-in-law Charles and Selena Machan, brother Raymond Anderson, brother-in-law Howard Allan, and nieces Lynne Anderson and Beverly Horst. Ed emigrated from England to Canada in 1969 and was a former plumbing inspector for the City of London. Celebration of Life will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.

To Ed’s family, I had the pleasure of working with Ed for many years at the City of London. His humour was a blessing. His laughter infectious. You didn’t have to see him to know he was there! I worked with Ed for many years at the City of London and always looked forward to our morning chats and his wonderful sense of humour. Tom and I send hugs and condolences to Shirley and the family.
