Donald Hutton

March 13, 1942 - April 4, 2023

Peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Parkwood Institute in London, Ontario at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Irene for 49 years. Loving father of daughter Leanne, son Terry Bergen, and father-in-law of daughter-in-law Valerie Zacharchuk. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Tom Bell, Ed Schweitz, and sister-in-law Nina Hutton. Survived by brother Doug Hutton, favourite sister-in-law Jane Bell, brother-in-law Walter Boyko (Vivian), and sister-in-law Doris Schweitz. Don retired from the city of Winnipeg on November 24, 1995, after 30 years of service. He was in the Naval Reserve for many years and enjoyed the lasting friendships of numerous people. Don spent 38 summers at his favourite place – Lee River – and enjoyed 18 winters in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Cremation has taken place.

Irene, Leanne, Terry and extended family Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved husband and father. We were deeply saddened to learn of Don's passing. He was a wonderful man and so much fun to be around. We have precious memories of your time as next door neighbors and fishing and fun at Lee River. He will never be forgotten.
